For reading the Bible you might also be interested
in studying ancient Greek and Aramaic, as only
parts of the Bible were written in Hebrew, as far
as I know. If you cannot find a person who can teach
you these ancient languages, you could visit
a well-stocked library (preferably an academic one)
and see if their "Theology" bookshelf has any study
books for these languages.
Good luck! Studying Biblical languages is,
indeed, an exciting adventure for a language
enthusiast.

Girl in the US who knows English, and Bosnian, wants to learn GERMAN!!
Ok, right now i am learning Spanish in school...but not because i want to, but because we are required to take it. But i really really want to learn German. I am going to take it in High school, but i want to start learning it now, so i can become fluent quicker. I heard that they're are different dialects of German. So i would like to speak the kind of german they speak in Austria, or Switzerland...since i have cousins that live there (and i'd love to understand them) anyway, I dont know why, but i kinda have my heart set on learning it. So if anyone can help me out, i'd appreciate it. thanks :)
