Re:Looking for a friends
yes i will do.
i am a native korean looking forward to teaching the classes of english speaking students in seoul for now.
lets exchange the idea how to proceed the exchange languages each other.
i am in reality thinking i wanna move up to the country like Phillipines for example etc where you have enough number of the students wanting to learn korean. takes time until that time gathering sufficient souce of such informations, which country, which city to settle my life etc.
Usa, Canada, Austrailia etc are the those countries i am noticed so far since a lot of people interested in Korea and a lot of korean adatees there.
excuse me too much talk in useless maybe.
take care

Re:Tips on learning Korean
I agree with what you have commented on this bulletin board, saying that the Korean ones who speaks english might be fond of talking further ad further in english with the english spoken partner, which means the counter partner would have very little chance to learn Korean even though he wants to learn Korean of course.
One thing really to meet my idea is that you said the older Korean would be recommended.
In fact myself is pretty old enogh, understanding above problem quie well from long time experience with foreigners.
need to control while I am talking in the lesson to make less English than Korean alot.
appreciat your precise picking up the point

take care

Tips on learning Korean
I've been in Korea for over a year, and have been studying Korean since. Based on my experience, here are some things that I think will help anyone trying to learn Korean.

1. Make friends with Koreans who don't know English. The Ones who know English tend to only speak English with the foreigners, even if they know you are studying their language. If the bilingual people give you a lesson, its most likely going to be a grammar lesson, which is difficult and dull.
The best bet is to talk to the older Koreans.

2. Find a Korean book you like and read it every day. It should be a book with multiple translations. It can be a Homeric Epic, Shakespeare, Bible, or even Harry Potter. Reading one of those books will spare you the trouble of flipping through the dictionary and will help you with your word count.
