A few tips
If you are an English speaker who is learning German, here are a few tips on what can make your learning expierences a little easier.
English and German have a lot of cognates(words that sound and or look alike in two different languages). In a lot of words where we have a t/tt, German has a s/ss. ex: sat=sass better=besser forget=vergessen let=lassen hassen=hate
Also in alot of places where we have a "F or V" german has a "B or P" and the same goes the other way around. ex: haben=have helfen=help silber=silver leben=live hoffen=hope
Obviously there are some verbs that are different, but they do all look pretty similar. I hope these tips are helpful to you.
