Welsh and Gaelic are very different from each other. They belong to two different branches of the Celtic Languages. I don't speak Welsh, so here's the Gaelic:

gàire - laughter
dèan gàire / gàir - to laugh

Tha mi a' dèanamh gàire / Tha mi a' gàireachdainn - I'm laughing

Ghàir mi - I laughed

Thug thu gàire dhomh - You made me laugh

Language pair: Gaelic (Scottish); Welsh
