Help with tips on how to study Japanese by myself...
I'd like to study Japanese in my free time, since I am not in school anymore... but I don't know how to structure what to learn. Does anyone have any good advice for how they study by themselves?

At first, you should find motivation to learn the language. What kind of things you are interested in?
For me, the reason I restarted to learn English was my favorite musician, Steve Vai. I realized, if I could see him, the chance would be only one short time in my life. I don't wanna miss it. So I decided to master English.
I translated lyrics and explanation of his songs, listened his commentary in DVD, imitated what he said... And it removed my hesitation for talking. After that, I became friend with foreigner. Our common language was only English.
I think, you can understand grammar gradually while you are using it. Go for it! Ganbatte!
