I think dictation is the most effective way to learn language,
If you couldn't catch waht the people say,you can't even repeat what they say and understand them either.To totally understand what they say,I try to write down what they say.If you can exactly copy what they say,you also can sound out exact the same things.

But it's not that easy ,that's why I'm here.haha........
