37yo female into old & new Indie Rock looking for friends!
Hi, I'm Sara and as the subject says, I'm a 37yo female who is into old & new indie rock (in addition to other genres...the only types of music I don't particularly care for are country and rap), and am looking for some new friends. As far as specific bands I like, they include: The Clash (RIP Joe Strummer), Smiths, Ramones, Liars, Oneida, White Stripes, Television, Wire, Gorky's Zygotic Mynci, Velvet Underground, Stereolab (RIP Mary Hanson), Billy Bragg, Faust, Can, Neu, Nirvana, I could pretty much spend the next hour listing them all. Other interests include films, theatre, travel, cafes & pubs, reading, animals and the Simpsons. I'd love to hear from people with similar tastes regardless of age and language you might be learning (I'm trying to teach myself Welsh, Irish, Spanish and French in case you're interested.)

Hi, Sara. I don't know if you're still checking this site, and I'm not really into old or new indie rock, though I know about most of the bands on your list. I do share many of your other interests, though: movies, theatre, travel, cafes, reading, the Simpsons. When I was younger (32 now) I also tried to teach myself Irish Gaelic, but now I'm looking to regain my high school Spanish and French, and to learn Italian before I travel there this year. What's the best movie you've seen this year?

Hi My name is Mike and i think that if you are really into this music like you say that you should get a vespa or lambretta and join a club in the uk of europe as most of the people who attend the scooter scene are into this type of music. there are rallies every month all across the uk and europe with live bands attending or very good groups who cover this type of music.
