How to say 'Fine thank you' in French?
Hi, I am a native English speaker trying to learn French (complete beginner). I know 'bonjour' is 'hello' in French, but what comes after that? I need help learning French, and will in return help with learning English.
Thank you!

Hello !
I can help you, but I am not a gold member, so I can't initiate the conversation. I have always wanted to teach French to someone ! :)

How to say "Fine thank you" in French.
On dit :" bien, merci " (sous entendu : "je vais bien, merci") Si la conversation commence par "bonjour, comment allez vous ? " l'autre personne répond : " bien merci " puis elle demande " et vous ?" ....

Hi,
Thanks for responding! I'm not a gold member either, and apparently you're not allowed to give contact info here, so not sure what to do.. unless you don't mind teaching me French like this? :)

Thanks for your reply!
I did not fully understand everything you wrote, but "bien, merci" is the answer right? And "bien merci, et vous?" would be "fine thank you, and you?"

When you're speaking with a friend (or family member ect.) you can say ''ça va, et toi ?" or ''Je vais bien, (merci), et toi ?" But you don't say really ''thank you -> merci" when you say ''And you -> Et toi" Sorry for mistakes, but my level of english is bad

Re:How to say 'Fine thank you' in French?
Hi, I am also a native English speaker and complete French beginner. Would you be interested in keeping in contact as we learn? I think it'd be easier to learn with someone, as we'd be able to share information and try messaging in French with someone at the same level. Let me know if you're interested!
