Russian for a beginner
Hi guys,
I'm completely new to russian and am wondering what I should practice first? I know English well but I would really like to learn russian so if theres any tips or tricks please let me know, thanks!!!

Start with the Russian alphabet. There are a lot of words that sound like the English word. It's just a few letters that do not sound like the English letter so it confuses me every time I try and sound it out.

Произношение сильно отличается, чтобы его выучить нужно практиковать, читать и разговаривать, и еще у нас одно и то же слово может иметь много разных значений, их нужно знать

it depends on your goals, but in general all the advice is the same as when you learn English.
If you want to read, start with the alphabet, etc.
if you want to talk - just start talking to somebody...
