I am planning on going to medical school and I believe that Spanish will be incredibly useful in the medical field. I have already taken a couple years of Spanish in school and speak close to the intermediate level. I've always thought that German was an interesting language and it looks fun to speak. I have a friend who lives in the Netherlands and his native tongue is Dutch, but speaks English as well and I thought it could be cool to talk to him in dutch, plus that would help me learn it. And finally, I am very Irish so learning Gaelic would be cool.
