I am a retired English professor, planning a trip to Germany next year. I would like to recapture and polish up the German I learned many years ago, at home, in high school, and in college courses. I can understand fairly well, though I have to look up words here or there. I've been told that I write well, but writing a good letter or email in German takes me a long time and much effort. I'd love a penpal who could help me with German, and I would be happy, in turn, to help in English.
