The literal meaning is that a cone (like from a pine or fir) doesn't fall far from the tree. For those who don't know the exact words. :)

Instead of "käbi ei kuku kännust kaugele", in Swedish we say "Äpplet faller inte långt från trädet."

Instead of "käbi ei kuku kännust kaugele", in Swedish we say "sådan far sådan son"
