I live in Galway City. I speak English and Irish fluently. I like travelling and I have spent long periods in Latin America. I would like to improve my Spanish which is at beginner level. I am planning a possible trip to Japan in 2010. I have no previous knowledge of Japanese and I would like to improve.

I'm Shane from Ireland :)
I love languages, music, films
Please, if you can, :
scriobh dom as Gaeilge (no Gaidhlig na hAlbainn)
schreib mir auf deutsch
пиши мне по-русски.
A reason I joined this thing is that I'm working hard on my Irish and improving fast. I'd love a pen-pal with better Irish than me.
Even more interesting than that would bein a pen pal with Scots-Gaelic, our beauiful sister-language. ;) Been watching a bit of BBC ALBA recently, understand a just a little more than a quarter (nearly half for kids programmes!).
I also speak fluent German and near-fluent Russian.
