Lots of programs out there teach by repetition. While such method does have its advantages, often time students quit half way through the first few lessons due to boredom. Having learned English and German myself, I have discovered that I learn the most when I am NOT LEARNING. I don't mean that I completely forego the books, but I enjoy learning the language when it is used in an area of my interests. It is as if I am playing while learning at the same time!
My teaching will not be just limited to table talk. We will also visit museums, restaurants, shops, or where ever you want to go! After all, what good is language if we don't use it? |
