Alphabetical pronunciations-Vowel sounds

Aa -As you pronounce it say UMBRELLA

Ie -As you pronounce it say IN

Iee - As you pronounce it say Eerie

aw - As you pronounce it say Awsome

kh -This sound system of course changes from letters to letter as explained below.

There are some more letters to follow i.e THa and NGa and Ha and Da with the same flow .

If you students know the tamil letters you will be able to learn the language easily because the sound system is inherited into the letters themselves which has been the beauty of the tamil Language.

Example - You pick up the following letters from the above flow chart

Aa + Maa = You get the word AMMA means MOTHER

Sa+ Pi +Doo +Nga +LL = You get the word SAPIDOONGALL means EAT

Tha+Nee+Ir = You get the word THANEER means WATER

So - if you know the Tamil letters and the meaning of the words - You will be thorough in your language

and you dont need to have a conversation practice to a great extend.
