Re:How to pronounce
Here are the translations that you requested. I also included a few other words and phrases that might be useful. Can I ask, are you planning on visiting Croatia? If so I can give you some travel/tourist related phrases or direct you to a phrase book... I hope this helps.
Sorry, I do not understand = Oprostite, Ne razumijem (pronounced: oh-pro-sti-teh, neh rah-zume-ee-yem)
Do you speak English = Govorite li Engleski? (pronounced: go-vor-eat-eh lee eng-les-key)
Where is the bathroom/toilet = Gdje je kupaonica OR Gdje je WC (pronounced: gud-yah yeh kuh-pow-nee-tsay / gud-yah yeh vey-say)
Some other things you should know: ----------------------------
Yes = Da (dah) No = Ne (neh) Thank you = Hvala (hvah-lah) Please = Molim (moh-leem) Sorry/Excuse me = Oprosti / Oprostite (oh-pro-stee / oh-pro-sti-teh) Good Morning = Dobro jutro (doh-bro you-tro) Good Day = Dobar dan (doh-bar dahon) Good Evening = Dobra večer (doh-bar vecher) Good Night (Going to bed) = Laku noć (la-ku noch) Goodbye = Do viđenja (doh vee-jeh-nyah) Goodbye (DUBROVNIK) = Adio (ah-dee-oh) Thank you very much = Hvala lijepa (hvah-lah lyep-ah) You're welcome = Nema na čemu. (neh-mah nah cheh-moo) How are you? = Kako ste? (kah-koh steh) Good /Fine = Dobro (doh-bro) Excellent = Odlično (ohd-leech-no) What is your name? = Kako se zoveš? (kah-koh seh zoh-vesh) I am <your name>= Ja sam <your name> yah sahm <your name>) Pleased to meet you = Drago mi je (drah-goh mee yeh)
That should help you get by. If you have any other specific translation questions let me know. I am still learning but its good practice for me.
All the best, -Cam W

Help Learning Croatian
Hi, I am a new member and not really sure how this all works. I am looking to lear Croatian. I live in Dubrovnik, Croatia and need to find someone who can devote some time to me to help me advance my vocabulary, etc.
I am Canadian and my native language is English. I can work with you to learn or expand your english. If you already know english, but are willing to help me, perhaps we can make some other arrangement.
I am not a gold member, but have skype.
Hvala! Cam
