Re:Difference between German words
Most things are already explained. But I think "drehen, wenden" is not exact.
drehen = rotate at any angle, as often as you like. Ein Karussel dreht sich.
wenden = rotate 180°, turn around once

Re:Re:Re:Help with German color grammar
Gut. Aber "Der schwarze Hund."
The color is an adjective and its form depends on the related nouns Numerus (Anzahl), Genus(Geschlecht) and Kasus(Fall).
In addition to this you need to have a look at the article. There is a difference between unbestimmt und bestimmt.
You use "bestimmte Artikel" if it is know which dog is meant. Like you mentioned him before, or he is standing right in front of you
You use "unbestimmte Artikel" if it is not known which dog is meant. Like you can see him, but he left some poop on your porch so he was there sometime...
Der schwarze Hund. Der Hund ist schwarz.
Ein schwarzer Hund. Ein Hund ist schwarz.
Die schwarze Katze. Die Katze ist schwarz.
Eine schwarze Katze. Eine Katze ist schwarz.

Re:Re:Help with German color grammar
Oh wow, it's so complicated. Some examples would be great!
I'm confused about the introduction of versions such as grüneS and gelbeS from my language program, though. When would I use those?
