Re:English speaker--need help with Spanish

I studied English for two years (ten hours a week), and I need to practice it or probably I'll forget vocabulary and maybe grammar too.
Let me warn you: learn Spanish will be more difficult for you than learn English for me. Spanish and Chinese are supposed to be the most difficult languages around the World. Like me, I want to learn Ukrainian because I want to travel to Ukraine next April 2009; but it might be quite difficult due to its cirilic alphabet.

I'm not Ukrainian, but I want to learn the language from Ukraine too. Tell me, why do you want to learn Ukrainian? "I must learn" looks like you're planning to travel soon to Ukraine. Let me advise you: learning a language written in Cirilic alphabet might be so difficult. I suggest to download and to install Babylon7 Translator in your PC, and get the comparative table of characters and sounds.

Any takers?
I live in the US. I speak English and I somewhat understand Spanish. I would like to learn Ukrainian for a trip I will hopefully be taking in 2009. I also would like to improve on my Spanish. So if you need help with your English and can help me with Spanish or Ukrainian, let me know!

Looking for Ukraine or German friend
I would like to know the Ukraine language. I also know a little German but it is really rusty. I live in California, USA and I can help with your English. This is my first visit on this site so I am still trying to figure out this system. Jerry.

I am from Pakistan and interested to make a visit for Ukraine, specialy in June this year to visit an exhibution in Kiev.
I would like to know some basic sentances to communicate with people there.
More over , If you can kindly help me to know more about Kiev, like living , travelling expenses etc., it will help me to plan my trip successfuly.
