Re:Re:Re:Re: 'I love you' in different languages
well...i speak english, yoruba and i'm still learning german. I love you in yoruba is written thus:
i = emi/mo
love = nife
you = re/e
***any how you write it is right...it is most commonly said as>>>
'mo nife e'...
directly translated as 'i have your love'
***WATCHOUT:: the pronunciation is not the way you are saying it lol...***say it as 'moh ni-fair air'

Ku Aro Dear Omokeji,
Se alafia ni??
I would like learn more Yoruba because the practice and my pedagogical work in University here in Brazil about the Orikis,Even if I don´t have the black skin of my ancestors from Oyo as my cousins still have I really love the Yoruba Tradition and Culture, and even if I am a little bit of each religion in world, I have a very special love for my mother Osun ( my name in yoruba should be OmodelOsun and so I identify myself to her when I sing her Orikis) I really would like to know Osogbo , Ife ,Ilesa , Oyo, Ipetu,Ire , Ketou, Abeokuta and all the other yoruba cities. I have in my ascendance Oyo Mesi and Alapini that came into Brazil in the slavery time. So it´s a question of honour to learn the language of my ancestors and I can help you with english , french , italian and spanish so as portuguese....
Iwo maa ni Ore mi ...
Ife Ore mi
