Details: 2001-Present - Manager of Customer Support. Handle all clients files in data-entry, managing account, out-going & incoming customer service calls, Open accounts files, co-ordinate inter-office communication. Establish reports weekly, monthly on sales and customer accounts. Train and oversee 6 personnel. Work independantly with other departments in operations of customer service related issues. Receive customer credit card/banking information for sales revenue. Maintain all files on clients and all that entails. Created original database of clients. Created all weekly reports on sales and departmental progress. 1999-2001 -Criminal Investigator Called various organizations across the nation to track clients employees criminal/credit history. Collaborated with police, city and state agencies in obtaining records. Maintained extreme level of confidentiality. 1994-1999 -Student /Student Worker Obtained B.A.I.S. in African Studies as well as worked throughout my college years. 1994-1998 International Studies Office administration. Worked with International students in maintaining their visa status', worked with officer personnel in all administrative capacities. Accessed students records and helped in implementing all INS rules and regulations for each student. Oriented international students to campus facilities and organizations. Created student I.D.'s. 1995-1996 Victims of Violence Court Advocate. Worked in conjunction with courthouse personnel and non-profit organization to administer and counsel victims of violence. Accessed courthouse records database and also went to court daily to let victims know of our agency and our concerns for their safety. Made trips to victims home to teach effective parenting skills and to educate on proper skills for overcoming abusive relationships. Recorded and documented victims files. Kept extensive records on victims progress and any needs of victim. Guided victims in proper direction for any agencies they would need to contact in reference to their financial or emotional needs. Also distributed information in booths at various local events to educate the populace on domestic violence and all of it's effects. 1996-1997 Peer Mentor First year program started and I was instrumental in helping establish non-traditional students such as myself to find a way in connecting with the university as best as they could. Created small and large group meetings/outings for acclimating students to the university and all of its offices and programs. Maintained relationship with each individual and connected with them weekly. Maintained progress of students grades and it's direct relationship with their status as being a non-traditional student. Co-ordinated offices and personnel in helping establish fundamental programs for students who would otherwise not be able to participate in normal college activities (i.e. football games, pledging, language or special small groups). 1988-1994 Food Prep-Head Cook, Bartender, Night Stocket (Wal-Mart) Worked various positions that included these jobs. 1985-1988 -Department Manager- Yokusuka Japan Naval Base Oversaw all aspects of managing department. Ordered and labeled merchandise, stocked items, detailed inventory, unloaded trucks, maintained customer relations with military personnel, and utilized military databases for ordering items that were not able to be reached by traditional methods. (I implememted this as new procedure) |
