Details: I am a retired California elementary teacher who is interested in working at home on translations. I have dual citizenship, US and Mexico. I obtained my degree, a BA from San Diego State University in Liberal Studies, Education, Bilingual/Bicultural studies and was graduated MAGNA CUM LAUDE. I also have a Minor in English. I subsequently taught 14 years at El Centro, California Elementary School District before retiring. Prior to going to college and becoming a teacher I worked in the Calexico, California Police Department for 4 years doing all types of office work. I am proficient in both English and Spanish and I love languages. My favorite classes in college were linguistics and liturature. I think I can contribute to helping develop text for the target language, especially in the publishing arena, but am open to any type of translation. I would like to work at home on the computer. I am dedicated and responsible and would accept making accuracy and deadlines a priority. Thank you for your time. |
