I want to learn how to speak and read Spanish. My son has recently married a girl of Nicaraguan descent, both parents being from Nicaragua. I don't know any Spanish yet, so I need help in all areas. Time devoted is flexible, although I do have a full time day job. As for qualities, I don't really know what to look for.

I am a 32 year who knows very little spanish. I lived in Houston for 3 years, which is where learned basic spanish...num bers, days of week, months. I am interested in becoming fluent in this language. I'm willing to dedicate at least 10 hours a week to my language lessons with a very patient teacher. I am an extremely fast learner and interested in private sessions or small group.
