Hi,
I took Japanese for like 3 years, but I'm not that great now.. it's been awhile.. but the way that i study and got those characters into my head for sure was picture memorization, flashcards, and practice.. it really pays off.. A+++ for all my years in Japanese classes! hopefully you already have a chart of all the different writings, like haragana, katagana, and kanji.. write back if u have any questions.. or get stuck in a specific character... maybe i can share what i was taught in class!!

I hope that I could learn any kinds of languages but I want to learn English first.You said you live in Brazil,can you speak English?
If not,that's ok.I also want to learn portuguese,but I'm totally a beginner.....I even don't know what portuguese word is like.....
