Introduction
"Assalamou alaykom !"
Hello everybody, let me introduce myself first. I am "Balquis" from the Arabic world I am 17 years old and I am new here.
Well, what encouraged me to be a member in language exchange is certainly my love of languages and my curiosity. In fact I would like to know about other countries and other civilizations. I have always dreamed of traveling to China, Malaysia, Greece, chyprus…
However, I have never left my country, Tunisia.
I want really to make friends and exchange language. I would love to learn Chinese and German so can you help me? I can help too! I speak English and I know French very well in addition to the Arabic it's my native language.
Now, I must talk about my hobbies. Music takes a specific part in my life, I love classical music: I listen to Chopin, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Mozart… also I adore Fayrouz you must know her or at least you had heard about her, "the queen of Lebanon" and I mustn't to forget Asmahane, Abed Al halim… these people are certainly a part of our civilization.
But, there are others from our generation who are so important for example Sami Yusuf
the Britannic singer, when he sings about Al-mou'allem we feel hope and happiness.
I think that I talked a lot about myself you must be bored. I know that I'm talkative and a always ask my friends about that but they always say:" Don't be silly! You aren't' we just become happy listening to you" I don't know! I'm not sure about that and I ask myself is it true or they say that just to console me? What do you thing?

J'aime la langue francais aussi. J'apprend maintenant moi-meme et quelque fois avec un prof de francais. J'ai etudie irregulaire pendant plusiers ans. Je ne suis pas francais, mais si vous voulez, je peux ecrire un peu en francais.

Thanks for your message. I have studied French for many years with different French tutors and on my own. It is my passion. I have always loved the French language. Since I started at a late age, it is not automatic for me. I really get confused with the tenses. Anyway, if you'd like to practice, I would be happy to correspond with you. Sincerely, Denise

Hi Hi - Greetings from Sonoma Valley, California
I just signed up after checking out the site and rules, and am ready to scrub off the rust from my childhood Spanish and become fluent in it again.
I guess since I can't contact any pen pals, I just sit back and wait now till one of them invites me to talk with them.
In the mean time, I guess I'll play some more hangman games and check out this message board.

I Julie and Denise...I thought I would write here to you both. I am an American female, 39 yrs old with two children, girl 8 and a son, 16 months. I just completed my MBA in international business and love to practice speaking and writing French. Ma parle francais et ecrite est pas mal, mais je suis etudie! Je suis amore parle francais. I can really help with speaking and writing English if you could help me with my french. Would be interested in voice chat and online chat. I am also not a gold member. So please contact me. My interests other than ma famile est running, music, playing blues guitar, and yoga! I also love chevaux. Want to learn Mandarin. Can teach English.
I'm Richard, 47, want to learn Mandarin, can teach British English, ideally looking for more mature person (like me!) / Gold Member / who visits this site occasionally - i.e. someone steady and reliable, with a bit of commitment and enthusiasm. If you live in a vaguely similar Time Zone it will help us coordinate meetings together.
Ideally I would like to learn little and often, perhaps in the early mornings before the kids go to school
