Jane Holmes, thank you for support! I very waited for it!

As I understand, word "conceal" is strong continue of words "cover" or "hide".
Jane, after your tip I begin to understand more that may english language just havn't correct word for explaining researched example shortly and fully (by one word).
I living in Russia and peoples to meet described situations here frequently, when bad masked as good. Russian language to have a proper word "лицемерие" for explaining that cases quickly ...May because we have it too many. ;-(

Jane, I wish you that you never need to know this english word in future. ;-D

Re:Would like to understand the difference
Hello!
I'm a frenche speaker, so I can try to explain you!^^
In french, when you say "je voudrais" it means that the thing that you want, you're not sure that you can get it.
When you say "je veux" it means that you really want this thing, and you're quit sure to get it easy!

Re:Would like to understand the difference

with "je voudrais" , you want something , but you need some condition to have it .

Example , you want to drive a car, but you don't have a car .

So becareful , you have too "je voudrai" ( without "s") , it's for futur action.

i hope you understand what i write .

Re:HELP TO PASSENGERS!
Eugene,

I think the word you are looking for is "conceal" or "concealment". In this case I would describe the Titanic situation as "criminal concealment"

From Chambers dictionary - conceal = to hide completely or carefully; to keep secret; to disguise; to keep from telling.

One could say that the true condition of the Titanic was "concealed" beneath its perfect exterior.

Hope this helps!

Jane

Re:What does this mean?
it means that only students may use the library. it is a very common thing in the states, not really sure if anywhere else dose the same thing. as far as i know it is due to the fact that it costs alot for the books and there are public libraries everyone can use, ect.
