Today is the second solar term--Y¨³Shu¨«
The traditional East Asian calendars divide a year into 24 solar terms (½ÚÆø). Each matches a particular astronomical event or signifies some natural phenomenon. The points are spaced 15¡ã apart along the ecliptic and are the used by luni solar calenders to stay synchronized with the seasons.
