Wanna practice my Spanish!
Amit from India. my native language is Hindi and I am fluent in Hindi and English and a good amount of Spanish too. But I am desperate to polish my Spanish which I consider one of the most beautiful languages in the world! Somebody please help me with this as I am really sincere...I'd love making friends with someone who speaks any language and teach her English or Hindi! If your mother tongue is Spanish, I would love to polish my Spanish with you. By the way, I am 24/m/single and my hobbies include traveling, movies, music and computer games and I am working as a computer engineer at an international corporation in Bombay.

Teach me Hindi or Kannada
I've just arrived in India and will be here for at least 6 months. One of the things I want to do while I'm here is learn the local languages.
I'm a native English speaker and I'm happy to help all levels of learners.
I'm also interested in learning languages generally, currently top of the (non-Indian) list are Dutch, Russian and Spainish, but any offers would be considered.

Sweden
Namaste! This is Shadab from Bombay, India. I am 24yrs old and pursuing MBA(will be graduating in August,08). I have a natural flair for languages.I speak English, parlo l'italiano et je parle francais. I have now set my eyes on Swedish. It is a pity that there is no Swedish language institute in Bombay(Mumbai). So i have decided to learn it online. I have heard a lot of good things about Sweden like it is a very progressive and tolerant country, the people are very friendly, warm and pleasant.I being a 'secular-humanist' can relate to it. Frankly speaking Sweden is the state of my dreams- Progressive and Tolerant.
Difference between Old and Contemporary Hindi
Old Hindi:
"Meri matrabhasha Hindi hai. Main Hindi me vartalap karta hun"
My mothertongue is Hindi. I communicate in Hindi.
Contemporary Hindi:
"Meri maboli Hindi hai. Main Hindi main bat karta hun"
My mothertongue is Hindi. I communicate in Hindi.
Notice the difference, Matrabhasha chnges to maboli and vartalap changes to bat.
