Hello every one; I'm just a beginner here, therefore, not able yet to write to whoever I'd like, Trying the site, thus far seems pretty good., a good opportunity to make friends, to know about world cultures, and to practice one's favorite language; mine, has always been English ever since I was a small child. I will always be learning it as it's my second language and in a way re-taking my native one, Spanish, as I have for 36 years of living in the States used, most of the time, English as the primary language, at home and at work... Back in Ecuador now, I'm working (although retired) as a Translator Interpreter for the Courts in Guayas/Galapagos District's Attorneys Office.

I am Spanish and I am desperate because I've joined today and I have to wait till someone wants to speak to me. I can say I've no idea of German (well, I can understand some words and easy sentences like, I don't kwon,: Ich bin...(whoever) wo sind...(whatever)but no much more)

Yo te comprendo, pero no debes decir "I have 19 years old." Quieres decir "I am 19 years old." Y no debes decir "I live in the north of Spain..." Quieres decir "I live in northern Spain..."

Pues, ¿cómo eres? ¿Qué te gusta hacer? Yo soy baja, morena, y muy atlética. Tengo ojos castaños. Me gusta jugar a baloncesto y a softball. También me gusta tocar la flouta.

Ok, too litle, but great.
Just one thing, you shouldn't say "anos" (that's mean another thing), you should say "años" (the ñ is a letter exclusively from spanish, but is the correct form)
