In England we don't use the word vacation, it's always a holiday. Which can mean going away for a period of time to relax; a few days off work; or a Bank Holiday, which is a day the government has announced as a day when the whole country has a day off work, for example, May Day, Christmas Day, and a few others in the year.

This has a simple meaning, but is a little complicated to explain. I don't know where it comes from, but here in England we like to pretend on occasion that we have the wisdom of the Chinese and this is probably one such occasion.
It basically means that someone who is not too intelligent will copy what someone else has done, and it usually means that thing is bad.

Somewhere I read this expression: "monkey see as monkey do" and I would like to know what it means, because I couldn't find the meaning anywhere, but I think that it has some special meaning. Could somebody help me, please?
