Hey you realise that Afrikaans is only spoken by a couple of million people only in South Africa and Namibia? The rest of Africa won't have a clue what you're saying, and you're better off learning English French and Swahili... There is no pan-African language. I have a phrasebook called African phrases which has about 8 different languages... it's saved my life on several occasions!
However, Afrikaans is a beautiful language and I love speaking it. If you want to learn that then I do recommend it, just make sure you don't think it's a language spoken in the whole of Africa!

I'm looking for a language exchange partner.
I'm originally from Gangwondo of South Korea. I grew up in the contryside. I have lovely memories in my youth. I guess, I know quite many Korean things with friends.
