Re:Re:Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Hi! I also read the books and I'm also excited about the movie. Although I saw the trailer and it didn't look that promising but I suppose I'll just have to find out by watching it when it comes out!

Re:Book club, anyone interested? Let's begin already : )
Hello there, How's everyone? O.K ladies [Georgina, Annika.B., Lisa.H.] I have a suggestion; the book I suggest is called "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran. I don't know if we should start reading as soon as you see this or whether we should all confirm first. Anyway this is my nomination it's not lengthy at all it's roughly about 80-90 pages long. O.K then there you have it and I look forward to hearing back from the gang. Kind regards, Respectfully Spiro.

Book club, anyone interested? Let's begin already : )
Hello, everyone who is interested in the book club online. Sorry, I haven't been online for a while since I wasn't sure anyone was interested yet. Well, based on te messages these are the people who are interested( Spiro R., Annika B., Lise H. and lovely me of course). It doesn't matter which genre we start first, ok? I agree with Spiro, select title every 2-4 weeks depending on the size. Who wants to be first? I want to be last ok? because I have no idea what to read yet. So, I'll check these week so we know the order of the readings and then begin reading. I can't wait and read interesting books.
Take care Georgina

the beat generation. Calling all lovers of Allen ginsberg.
hello there book lovers, I really love Allen ginsberg and all his works especially "howl, kaddish, sunflower sutra," is there anybody out there who knows him and feels the same intense admiration and love for him? I recently bought his collected poetry for $20 Australian currency. I really love the imagery of Kaddish and the saxophone ramblings of Howl. Is there no end to his genius?

Re:Book club, anyone interested?
I think a book club online would be a great idea. Maybe a different member could nominate a title every 2-4 weeks depending on the size of the book. Poetry is the genre that really moves me, and also I find that if you read a bilingual edition of poetry it also assists in learning another language; verbs have already been conjugated. I've been reading Pablo Neruda's poetry for years now and I can recommend all his work esp poem xx [twenty]. I would really enjoy being part of the book club [if there are any seats available] Kind regards Spiro

Re:Let's talk about books in English and Japanese
I'm interested in japanese and i know a few about English literature, but i'm Spanish(yes, these contry in the other face of world. For me the best English literature literature was in Victorian Age and the autors are:Charles Dickens(Oliver twist,David Copperfield ara the most famous books that he write),Mary Shelley(Frankestein),Emily Brönte(Wuthering Heights, this book I like very much, tells a histiry of love but in this book love is a force of destruction,i recomend you),Bram Stocker(Drácula),Edgar Allan Poe ...
The most famous writer in English is Shacskespeare and this book Hamlet is the best, another books of Sjakespeare are:Macbeth(very good),Romeo and Julieta ...This writer are tragic, but are the best.
