Re:Anybody want to learn English or Welsh?
I'd really like to learn Welsh. I've tried to learn from workbooks and things but haven't gotten any further than scattered words, place names, and pronunciation including approximating the ll sound. My only fluent language is English so trades are hard for me to find, but I've taken a few years of Spanish and could probably help out a beginner with that.

In need to learn Tagalog.
My native language is English whilst French being my second language. I am currently in the need to learn Tagalog as I have a Filipino girlfriend and I want to surprise her by showing her that I learned her native language.
I am extremely good at learning languages (I know French, quite a lot of Spanish, some Dutch, Russian and a bit of German). I also have a vocabulary of about 20-50 words in Tagalog and I can now construct basic sentences such as (I am or You are).
I am in need of any studying tips/partners/etc to help me learn Tagalog. My goal is to be able to understand a conversation/have a conversation in about 2-4 months time. I think that if I dedicate about 1-2 hours per day and listen to language tapes/podcasts/etc, I can achieve this goal.
Any help is appreciated.
