Re:Help with a sentence!
Hi. Ughhh... I'm afraid to say, every one of all of yours is not correct.
"The original English sentence" is,
You bought a new bike last week, but it was stolen yesterday.
So, your translations below were made without inserting "You" in Japanese.
As a native Japanese speaker, I would say,
先週新しい自転車を買ったそうですが,昨日盗まれてしまったようですね。
Your 3 translations unfortunately are, like, something that speaks about the incident which happened to you.
Now, you might wonder and may point out my expression also does not have Japanese word "貴女=あなた", which is You.
However, I am "controlling" the "direction" by using the last particle.
"ね" is a particle that suggests "the conclusion or the confirmation". This particle is not used "toward yourself". Only on the contrary "toward other people or person".
Please be noticed this slight different will have a great impact on your translation, since only with omitting a particle that suggests you are talking about not yourself.
I wish this might have helped you.

I'm native English speaker looking for Japanese and Mandarin/Cantonese.
Hello my name is Zekiah(Zah-ki-ah)Jackson[It's a girls name].I have taken two semester of Japanese during high school but now I have forgotten quite a bit, and I want to be able to read and speak Japanese. I've been searching far and low for a site that are SERIOUS IN LANGUAGE EXCHANGE. I was at interpals but it turned into a dating site basically. I want to learn it bad so I need someone as serious as I am. Hey, I don't mind making friends while doing this, it would be like an added bonus in learning a language.Reason: read manga and novels, watch dramas and movies, travel.
Now Chinese.. I have taken one semester of Chinese, Mandarin during high school but now I have forgotten all of it. I really want a voice chat for this one. I know it might be a pain to teach someone from the ground up but I promise you that you won't be bored.I'm a funny gal. I believe I want to learn Cantonese as well. The reason is because I want to watch their dramas and movies because they are so awesome, and of course travel.
Now a little about me.. Well you all ready can guess that I like Asian history. I like to draw and write stories mainly. I love movies (watch a lot of those). I can talk about anything really.Um yeah is me in a nutshell. Oh I don't mind helping you as well with your English. I love to help as best as I can.
Please help I'm so dedicated you won't regret it, I promise you. I'm a regular member.

Help with a sentence!
I am suppose to use ~たばかり and translate this sentence to japanese (You bought a new bike last week, but it was stolen yesterday. ) Was wondering which of these is more correct:
先週、新しい自転車を買ったばかりですが、昨日は盗まれました。 昨日、先週の買ったばかりの自転車は盗まれました。 先週の買ったばかりの自転車は昨日、盗まれました。
The last two sentences are missing *atarashii, but don't know where to put it or which particle to use. Could use some help, thanks :)
In addition, I could use someone to practice Japanese grammar with..

Hello.
Hello, my name is Seiya and I am currently seeking a penpal fluent in Japanese. I would like to discuss a variety of topics in both Japanese and English. I am very new to the Japanese language, so patience would be greatly appreciated, as I still have much to learn. I am teaching myself Japanese through a variety of educational resources. I can currently read and write in hiragana and I am currently working on learning katakana. I find Japanese grammer the most confusing aspect of learning Japanese, but my favourite part is the vocabulary its self. Any tips, tricks, or advice, would be greatly appreciated. I am not a goldmember, but please feel free to contact me if you are interested in being penpals. Hope to hear from you soon.
