Hola Mary, I hope you have got lots of lovely replies to your message.
I am English and will be visiting Spain mid September with a friend. We will arrive in Barcelona and then go to Tarragona.
It is possible for us to meet up for an hour or two during a day trip back to Barcelona ... if you want to.
We are two women, 50 and 60, and can happily speak English with you and perhaps you could show us a nice coffee bar or bar.
My Spanish, after studying for a year, is not very good. In fact I think it is getting worse! ha ha ha!

Taveling to Ireland
I live in the US and have always wanted to visit Ireland. Anytime I've looked, though, the fares seem to be outrageous. Does anyone have tips on traveling through the Irish Countryside (County Cork smaller towns) without spending a fortune? I am also up for suggestions on locations. I just want to avoid large places, like Dublin, and experience the laid back part of Ireland. I would also love to see the old castles and ruins.

I love the Vatican. I also recommend Florence... if you are in Italy. It is a beautiful city. Go see 'David', and eat LOTS of ice cream every day. By the way, I also love Indonesia. I've visited Bali, Yogjakarta, Jakarta, and Lake Toba. It is a wonderful country.
