Telugu in Udumalaipettai...How to say...Hello, I am glad to meet you.
I'd like to learn something about the Telugu language spoken by Kammavar people in and around Udumalpet.

To say, Hello, how are you....
or to say, I'm glad to meet you.

Or some other simple sentences.

How would it be different from the Telugu that is spoken in Hyderabad?

Re:How to greet people in Japanese? Part 3
I would also like to point out that you should only use ANATA when you don't know the name of the person you are talking to. When you do know it, you should replace ANATA with the person's name followed by the honorific -san as it is rude not to use an honorific when addressing someone, especially if they are a lot older than you.

Well, I hope this proves helpful to you. For now, I stuck with the formal/polite way of saying your sentences. If there is something you don't understand or you would like to go further in depth about certain elements of the Japanese language, feel free to reply back to me and I help as soon as I can. It was nice helping you!

-My name is Yuki.

わたしのなまえはユキです。 (WATASHI NO NAMAE WA YUKI DESU.)

-What is your name?

あなたのなまえはなんですか? (ANATA NO NAMAE WA NAN DESU KA?)

*In Japan, KONNICHI WA can also be translated as "Hello." so you can actually use this phrase at any time of the day.

**I took out the "thank you!" part because you don't necessarily have to thank someone for asking "How are you?" A simple "I'm fine." is fine.

Re:How to greet people in Japanese?
Hi Yuki.

I am Enrico. Japanese is not my native language but I am currently learning it at school so I can pass down what I learned from my Japanese teacher to you. I can help you with the translations the sentences you requested, but first, I have two questions to ask you.

1. Do you know how to pronounce the vowel sounds of the Japanese
language?
2. Do you know how to write and read in Japanese? (Hiragana &
Katakana)

The reason I ask you these two question is because it is important to know how to pronounce words in Japanese. If you don't know how to do the things in the questions I asked, I can teach you that as well.
