Re:Please proofread my short English to German translation
Hi!

I'm a native German speaker and these are my corrections:

1 "Ich HATTE Deutsch in der Schule"
2. "Ich SPRECHE ES bei weitem nicht fließend"
3. "EINE gute Aussprache"
4. "Ich habe viel in Chören gesungen"
5. "DA Deutsch KEINE romanische Sprache ist"
6. I'm not sure how to translate that ... "... hat es eine andere emotionale Bandbreite"? I'm not sure if I actually got it ;)

Please proofread my short English to Russian translation
Here's what I'm trying to say:

Russian is a little more common, and I know the alphabet.

And here's how I've translated it:

Русский немного чаще, и я знаю алфавит.

Thanks for your help!

Please proofread my short English to German translation
Here's what I'm trying to say:

I took German in school. I am nowhere near fluent, but I do have good pronunciation and I also have a fairly good grasp of the grammar. I've sung plenty of German in choirs. Not being a Romance language, it tends toward a different range of emotion.

And here's how I've translated it:

Ich nahm Deutsch in der Schule. Ich bin bei weitem nicht fließend, aber ich habe gute Aussprache und ich habe auch einen recht guten Überblick über die Grammatik. Ich habe viel zu singen in Chören in Deutsch durchgeführt. Seit Deutsch ist nicht eine romanische Sprache, es neigt zu einem anderen Bereich von Emotion.

Thanks for your help!

Please proofread my short English to Polish translation
Here's what I'm trying to say:

My mother's parents were Polish, so even though I don't speak the language, I have it "in my ear." It's a rare language for singing.

And here's how I've translated it:

Rodzice mojej matki były polski, więc nawet jeśli nie znasz języka, znam jego brzmienie. To rzadki język do śpiewania.

Thanks for your help!

Please proofread my short English to Italian translation
Here's what I'm trying to say:

Italian is fun to pronounce. It just rolls off the tongue. Like Spanish, Italian is mostly phonetic, but the rhythm is very different. When I was in Rome, my accent was good enough that nobody answered me in English, even though I didn't understand most of what they were saying.

And here's how I've translated it:

Italiano è divertente da pronunciare. È melliflua. Come spagnolo, italiano è in gran parte fonetica, ma la cadenza è molto diversa. Quando ero a Roma, il mio accento era abbastanza buono che nessuno mi ha risposto in inglese, anche se non ho capito la maggior parte di quello che dicevano.

Thanks for your help!

Please proofread my short English to Spanish translation
Here's what I'm trying to say:

I regret not speaking better Spanish. I never studied it formally, but living here makes it easy to learn. Also, my knowledge of French and my Spanish-speaking friends have helped me improve. Regardless, I'm very good at pronouncing it. Spanish has a romantic, earthy quality to it.

And here's how I've translated it:

Me arrepiento de no ser más capaz de hablar español. Nunca estudié formalmente, pero vivir aquí hace que sea fácil de aprender. Además, mis conocimientos de francés y mis amigos hispanohablantes me han ayudado a mejorar. En cualquier caso, soy muy bueno en pronunciarlo. Español posee una calidad romántica y terrosa.

Thanks for your help!
