"A mano limpia" en inglés y "summer camp" en español
Traducir a mano limpia y summer camp 051505
Un modismo español:
Hace unos días, lo encontré con una frase española que no conocí antes. Estaba mirando "Harry Potter y el Prisonero de Azacaban" y los jóvenes estaba hablando acerca de un hombre llamado Sirius Black que ha escapado de una cárcel, y era el único hombre de todo tiempo que lo consiguió de esta cárcel. Dicen que atrapar a Sirius era como atrapar el humo a mano limpia.
Creo que comprendo el parte sobre atrapar el humo, que es un gas, y no se puede agarrar con la mano. Pero no lo puedo enterarme que quiere decir "a mano limpia" ¿es un modismo como lo que decimos en inglés, "bare handed," que quiere decir con las manos solas, sin ningún tipa de herramienta? ¿O quiere decir algo diferente? Estoy un poco confundido.
Y también, una otra pregunta: ¿Cómo se dice, "summer camp" en español? Esta frase, "summer camp" se trata de una tipa de escuela en que asisten los niños durante del verano. Viven allí durante uno o dos meses, tal vez, y hacen tales cosas como ir al camping, montar los caballos, nadar, hacer manualidades, etc.
