Wanna learn chinese
Hey there, I am relocating from New York City to China soon. My native is hungarian, but I wanna pick up some chinese. My question is how useful to acquire simplified chinese in China instead of the normal one? Do Chinese use it in ordinary life?

Simplified Chinese is widely used in Mainland China. The traditional Chinese is mainly used only in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
That means most Chinese in Mainland china don't know the traditional Chinese characters.
