Greetings! Looking for mandarin speaker, will trade for English or French
Hey, hey, hey, how's it going?
My name is Tony, but people usually call me TJ, from my initials, because people are lazy like that. I'm 17 years old, and I live in Quebec City, Canada (don't visit here by the way, it's not that great of a spot). I'm generally good-natured and helpful, and I'm always avaliable for a bit of chat in tongues I know nothing about.
My mother tongue is actually French, but I speak English at a near-fluent level. I do however have a slight French accent so I can't help you on the spoken part unless you want to sound like me (my accent is indeed awesome).
I'm a traveller at heart. I like going around and plan on visiting China after college. I like mixing up with the locals and living like one when I travel, but unfortunately my Chinese is pretty bad (I think everyone will agree that living like a local in a foreign country without knowing one bit of the local language is pretty hard). I don't have access to native speakers where I live so I can't really practice, or get used to Pinyin spelling. And that's where you come in!
So, if you're a native speaker of Mandarin, and you want to learn French (dubious) or English (much more plausible), I'm the man to talk to! Man, woman, older than me, younger, it doesn't matter, I get along with anybody.
French : Acadian-flavoured "standard" Quebec French
English : slight French Canadian accent
Mandarin : absolutely no skills...

In fact my purpose here is to learn German, but I happened to read your message just now, and I felt you are a pretty interesting person, so I decided to leave you a message. Though currently I don't have the plan to speak English with an accent like yours;), or learn French, I decided to help you with your Mandarin, only if you want me to do that:) Looking forward to your reply
