Hello everybody.
I am a french student and i have to translate 8 sentences from french to english. I have do it but i don't know if it's correct. Can you hel me please? Thank you for your help! I give my translation :

1. Les nanoparticules s'infiltrent-elles dans la nourriture et les boissons?
1. Do nanoparticles infiltrate into the food and the drinks?
2. Environ 40 millions de dollars ont été dépensés en recherche sur la santé l'an dernier.
2. Approximately 40 million dollars were spent in research on the health last year.
3. On sous-estime très probablement le nombre de produits alimentaires contenant des nanoparticules.
3. We underestimate very probably the number of foodstuffs containing nanoparticles.
4. On a besoin de mieux comprendre où se trouvent les dangers.
4. We need to understand better where are the dangers.
5. "Une fois que l'on aura les résultats de la phase 1 on pourra effectuer des tests plus approfondis" a déclaré hier le directeur de l'EPA.
5. " When we shall have the results of the phase 1 we can make more detailed tests " declared the director or manager of the EPA yesterday.
6. Cela vaut certainement la peine de mettre en garde les consommateurs contre des dangers potentiels.
6. It is certainly worth warning the consumers against potential dangers.
7. Etant donné les risques possibles, nous voulons que les tests soient rendus obligatoires.
7. Given the possible risks, we want that the tests are made compulsory.
8. Cette société a été condamnée à une grosse amende l'an dernier pour avoir omis de déclarer la présence de nanoparticules dans du matériel informatique.
8. This company was condemned for a big fine last year to have omitted to declare the presence of nanoparticles in the computer hardware.

Your translations are almost all correct. The only changes I would make are numbers 4 and 8. Number 4 should probably say "what the dangers are" and number eight "for having neglected to announce" might be a better translation in English. Hope this helps!
