I would like to know how do yo say "batalla perdida" in english. This is an expression used in castellano to express that you are tired arguing or trying to change someone's behaviour with no solution.

I believe the expression you may be looking for is "losing battle". This indicates that the battle you are fighting is not going well and you are losing. In los Estados Unidos it is a phrase that is used in this manner, "Do not attempt to persuade me to go to the movies because you will be fighting a losing battle". I hope this helps.
