What does this mean?
Hello Could you please help me? What does "library only at the disposal of students" mean?

Re:What does this mean?
It sounds kind of weird even in English, but I think it means that students are only allowed to use the library and no one else.

Does this really mean . . .
Please help! I have a phrase "Gracias por dotar de mi un hijo" -- I think the person means to say "thank you for treating me as a son" but it appears to literally translate as "thank you for giving me a son" -- which is it? Would it be better to say "Gracias por dotar de mi como un hijo" ?? Or some other way? This is in the Dominican Republic.
Por favor -- ayudame! Es corecto decir "Gracias por dotar de mi un hijo" cuando una persona quiere dar gracias a otra persona por actuar como una mama en su vida? Parece que la frase significa "gracias por DARME un hijo!" Que verguenza si lo tengo incorecto. Cual es el mejor manera de decirlo? Gracias!!

Re:What does this mean?
it means that only students may use the library. it is a very common thing in the states, not really sure if anywhere else dose the same thing. as far as i know it is due to the fact that it costs alot for the books and there are public libraries everyone can use, ect.
