Hi Linda, where do you wish to start? Better still, we can both learn each other's language. When someone gives you a something especially a gift, in English you say: 'Thank you'. What is 'Thank you' in your language? After saying 'Thank you' to the person who gave you something or a gift. The person would reply by saying: 'You are welcome'.

Linda, the fact is that as you continue to communicate in English with someone who knows the language, you will improve over time. But the person would have to correct you when you're wrong.
