Skype - Talking by voice
i'd like to find someone to start talking with a VoIP software called skype.. we can use it like a common phone ... it's free!
I'm a brazilian portuguese native speaker and i also have some english knowledge...

Alo, Rodolfo,
I'm Mark Springer, and i've only just begun to start studying Portuguese. I can still count the number of words in my vocabulary without taking off my shoes.
But I have found, at least with written Portuguese, that my extensive practice of Spanish has been a lot more helpful then I thought it would be. And I've been looking for a Skype partner, just so I could learn how to use the technology, and make sure it works all right on my computer.
Anyway, let me know what you think. Even if I'm not yet ready to speak Portuguese on Skype, at least if you speak a little English, we can get the system up and running and I can help a little with your English until you find a more fitting partner.

Hi Mark, i would be glad to help your Portuguese and your skype skills. I was born and raised in Sao Paulo - Brazil (native Portuguese speaker) and i have fluency in English comprehension and writing, but since i got no partners to talk to, my spoken English is just "OK" :)
I'm 23yrs old, working as an IT Consultant for a large Bank and studying to become an attorney. Do a search for "leonardocrespo".

i guess i was just browsing these boards and found that you are from sao paulo. while i realize that there are A LOT of people from sao paulo, ;) i guess i'm just hoping that i get a reply and someone can help me learn portuguese. i went to sao paulo for a few days last summer and then spent a week and a half in porte alegre and looooved it. i also have some friends here from sao paulo and i want to surprise them and the people i met in brasil with my speaking ;) i hope you can help.

rodolfo-- i'm definitely interested but not necessarily confidant in my abilities with spoken portuguese.... if you're brave enough to try with me, i'm brave enough too :D let me know what you think. i need to go back to my room to figure out what my skype info is, but i do have it and am interested.
