Spanish speakers help, story grammar
Yo escribí una historía(story) para mi clase de español (es tarea)... puedes ayudarme con the GRAMMAR y SUBJUNCTIVE TENSE (por ejemplo: Mi madre insiste que yo HAGA mi tarea. Busco un amigo que SEA amable.)? ^^;; If you are an English speaker but know Spanish very well, you could help too...
The story is in the past (preterito) tense... here is a sample I am not sure I did right:
Pico (un conejo) empecé a regresar a su agujero cuando una bruja se manifestó.
"Es mejor que hijos obedezcan a sus padres," dije la bruja.
Pico estuvo asombro; el creía que brujas nunca ?visiten/visitaran? conejos.
"Pues, no puedo hablar con el granjero," dije Pico.
"?Es verdad/Es cierto?," dije la bruja. "Pero un muchacho puede hablar con él."

hola kimberly, sería mucho mejor asi:

pico estaba asombrado, el creía que las brujas nunca visitarían conejos.
"pues no puedo hablar con el granjero" dijo pico
"es verdad o es cierto(both of them are correct)"dijo la bruja
"pero un muchacho puede hablar con el.
careful with dije = i said.
dijo = he or she said.
