I just have to say that amar is my absolute favorite verb considering my first verb I learned was amare (Latin) and when I found amar I found out it was almost identical to Latin! ^-^ There is the fact that love is a wonderful act.
Instead of "te amo", in English we say "I love you/You I love/I love thee, etc"
