'Saya suka awak' is the answer! 'Saya' - is how you address yourself in a polite way instead of 'Aku', which is in casual way and not really suitable to be used when talking to the elders. 'Suka' - can also be interpreted as love in other language, but in Malay it's less strong then Cinta(Love), so you can use it to friends, teachers etc. 'Awak' - is how you address the other person(singular) in a polite way. 'Kau' or 'Engkau' is more casual and usually being used towards close friends. While 'Anda'(Unisex), 'Saudari'(Female) or 'Saudara'(Male) is very, very polite and general, usually used for strangers.
