This is in the Ulster dialect (it's also inteacht) elsewhere they would say rud éigin for something.
I was expecting 'Tà mé ag foghlaim Gaeilge'

Instead of "Tá mé ag foghlaim rud ineacht", in English we say "I learned something."

I'm not quite certain if I translated correctly... had to guess the phrase, too... ;-)
Instead of "Tá mé ag foghlaim rud ineacht", in German we say "Wieder was gelernt!"
