I am a beginner in urdu, currently living in Lahore for the next year. I am a british national and i wish to learn urdu for conversationa l and day to day purposes. i am willing to dedicate around 4-5 hours a week to lessons. I am not overly concerned about learning urdu script but if this was possible i would consider it. I am looking for a teacher who could give me lessons at home on an hourly basis but am willing to travel to the teacher if needs be. A knowledge of English wouldbe important in my teacher as i speak no urdu. i want a teacher who is well qualified and has experience in teaching urdu, especially on a spoken basis. I also live with two other english speakers who also wish to learn urdu.
