I am looking for a Japanese tutor. After spending one and a half years in Korea, I want to live new experiences abroad and I think Japan is just the right place for me.
I am looking for someone who can teach me 'survival' Japanese. I want to be able to read and write common words and be able to communicate even if it's not perfect. I also want someone who can explain grammar to me.
I would be comfortable with hour-long lessons, perhaps once or twice per week, depending on my ability to retain the material.
I am a complete beginner, and have never tried learning Japanese.

I want to learn business Japanese because considering studying international business and I feel that Japan is such an important country in the business world, and that being able to speak Japanese would be a definite asset in my business career.
My level of proficiency is intermediate. I grew up in Japan, and though I received my education via English correspondanc e studies, I had lots of Japanese friends and my mom's Japanese so I'm completely proficient in casual conversation Japanese, it's just the formal and business side of Japanese that I'm not very skilled in.
I'm looking for a teacher who is well-versed in the business terminology of Japanese, as well as the customs and etiquette and rules that govern that society.
